While we spared them from parading around in a cap and grown, we still recognized the 2019 SOAR and inSPIRE participants on their recent graduation at Arrowhead Stadium. The programs provide year-round support and resources to current and emerging Netsmart leaders. Grounded in the five LeadSmart Expectations, both programs aim to expand each participant’s leadership skills and potential. It’s no secret work can be stressful, and often times the day-to-day routine can take a toll on your health and overall well-being. We live in a highly career-driven world, so it’s easy to get too wrapped up in your work and have other aspects of your life take a back seat. Overextending yourself can have the opposite effect on your productivity. While hard work and commitment are admirable attributes to withhold in any job, you must strike a balance in order to sustain momentum.

Time sure does fly when you’re having fun! For the last 10 weeks, we’ve been hosting our #FUTURES18 on a variety of operational teams. They have had the chance to get their hands on real-world experience in diverse areas such as human resources, sales, consulting, engineering, finance and more. Through their contributions, our FUTURES are leaving us with a lasting impact with the aim to make life better not only our clients but also the individuals they serve.
We think it’s pretty cool that our FUTURES are able to gain experience in areas that span all across Netsmart. Over the last few weeks, you’ve heard from FUTURES in HR, IT, sales and more. This week, Will, Chase, Jasmine and Brian give us a quick peek into summer with our engineering and cloud teams. Watch below to hear about their experiences.
Our sales and consulting teams are great at ensuring that our awesome clients have just the right tools and workflows in place to help meet the unique goals and objectives of their organizations. They have had the honor of hosting a few of our FUTURES this summer to teach them what it takes to provide the best client experience. Let’s join Kennedy, Alex, Paul and Noah as they give us the lowdown on what they’ve been able to experience over the last few weeks.
Time sure does fly when you’re having fun! Our #FUTURES18 have been with us for seven weeks and are learning so much as members of their individual teams, spanning across all areas of Netsmart. Over the next few weeks, they’ll give us a glimpse into what they’ve experienced in their respective roles so far.
When you’re young and exploring a career path, the possibilities are endless. To get a first taste of professional life, many individuals choose internships or hands-on work opportunities. By doing so, students and young professionals can learn more about a particular field or industry and apply knowledge learned in the classroom with real-world experience. Once one decides to pursue an internship, the next step is deciding where to get that experience.
It’s thrilling that FUTURES from previous summers come back to join us for another 10 weeks of learning and real-world experience. With each opportunity, they’re able to expand their knowledge and build upon what they learned the previous year. Watch as returning FUTURES Alex Beattie, Jessica Jones and Tyler Michels explain why they made the decision to spend another summer with the Netsmart family and what they’re looking forward to this year.
