The newest hiring classes from Evolv, Addiction Management, and VRS are hosting a donation drive to help the children in need at KVC Health Systems. As new associates, we would like to give our time and efforts back to the communities and clients we serve as an organization. Being a part of a company that believes EveryDay Matters and is not just a mantra, is a honor. The newest hiring classes would like to show the community how much Netsmart can truly contribute, not only by putting passion into the work that we do but in the acts of kindness we, as a company, actively pursue.

Our journey … a new hire perspective – Part 2
Hi, Zach here, I too began my Netsmart journey on January 5th with the Consulting New Hire class. I had just graduated from college at Kansas State a few weeks before and Netsmart is my first “Real World” work experience. I was nervous the first day, but that quickly went away by the time the second day. The next five weeks of training flew by faster than left-over Jack Stack BBQ disappears in the Café at Netsmart – a common occurrence.

Netsmart Porch Party at the KC Royals game!
This happened on Friday July 25th when NTST had the Royals party porch rented out for our event. Early in the game, the Indians Carlos Santana hit a homerun that landed right in front of me. Beside me covering her face is my wife, Anni, and Margy Foody (Insight team) is to my left. Mike Jones is also visible to my right next to my wife. Anyway, I missed catching the ball but was able to retrieve it. As I held it up in celebration, the NTST team and other fans collectively yelled, “THROW IT BACK! THROW I BACK!”. In the spirit of team, I obliged and threw it back. I am really happy it didn’t hit Omar Infante on the infield…but it came close! Shortly thereafter my phone started blowing up with Facebook messages of the video, texts, and calls from friends and other NTST team members who couldn’t make the game. All in all, it made for a great story at a really fun event. Looking forward to the next one!
