Happy Thanksgiving from Team Netsmart!

Happy Thanksgiving from Team Netsmart!

Are you up for a challenge? Every year we see posts on social media outlets about what people are thankful for during the holiday season. This season WE challenge you to express your gratitude with words AND live by them! ‪#‎ntst‬ ‪#‎blog‬ ‪#‎gotgratitude

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” ~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy

We want to encourage you by some examples of how our Netsmartians have lived out their gratitude this year:

“I moved back here to be with my family several years ago and I am thankful for being close enough to them to spend the holidays with them now.”   Cristan, Facilities Manager

“I have so much to be thankful for!  I am especially thankful for good friends, both new and old.  I have friends that I lost touch with over the years, and have reconnected with this year which makes me very happy.  You can’t have too many friends, especially those who can bring out the belly laughs in you.”  Julie, Practice Lead

“I am thankful for my nephew and the time I was able to spend with him over the summer swimming, seeing movies, and going to the library.“  Madison, Delivery Analyst

“My family recently lost our home in a fire – we are thankful for the continuous support of family and friends. We enjoy spending time together in good times and in bad.”  Elizabeth, Delivery Analyst

“I found that throughout this last year living a life of gratitude looked like being generous with my time. So as I look back throughout the year and think about ways that I’ve expressed gratitude, I remember those moments where I put away my own agenda, kept the phone in my pocket and remained present in the moment.”  David, Centered CDE

“I am extremely thankful for my mom and dad for supporting me during my pursuit of my second degree in computer science.  I show I am thankful by working hard every day on my studies,  saying thank you,  and getting a new job that will be an amazing career.  #40daysnotcounting.”  Gina, Software Engineer (was a FUTURE with us during the summer and joining us in January ’15 Full Time)

“I am grateful for all those who have bravely served in the United States Armed Forces. My debt to these heroes can never be repaid but I try to show my gratitude by getting involved with organizations like Folds of Honor who provide annual educational scholarships to the military families of those who have been killed or disabled while in active duty.”  – Brett, Product Support Representative

“I am thankful for the director at my son’s daycare center.  Her time and dedication have helped him grow while I have been gone.  We love to help out at center events and also donate scrap lumber and other building supplies that get re-purposed for art projects.”  Danny, Delivery Consultant

“I am very thankful for my family.  I try to show this by doing small acts of kindness towards them.  Small things like helping them out when I can with service, or simply telling them I love them are usually the ways in which I express my gratitude towards them.  It can be something small like calling my grandma just to talk with her, or buying a gift for my mom on just a normal day.” – Matt, Delivery Analyst

Special thanks to Sandra D for composing this blog and for capturing messages of gratitude within the walls of Netsmart.  Team #ntst ROCKS!

From our family to yours…. Happy Thanksgiving!!
