Week 4: FUTURES on the Hunt!
As our fourth week of the Futures program comes to a close I think it is safe to say that we are all figuring out the definition of work hard play hard. Although our training may seem over our heads at times and we slowly begin to understand that the learning never really stops, I think we can all agree Netsmart has done an excellent job of keeping things interesting. They’ve done this by planning some awesome events to break up our schedules and make sure we are making the most of our summer in KC.
Last week all of the futures got to participate in a scavenger hunt in downtown Kansas City. Starting with fountains at Crown Center and getting to so proudly spread the word about Every Day Matters, moving to the history exhibits at Union Station, and finishing with a beautiful view of downtown KC at the World War I Museum. It was a great excuse to get out of the office and get to know our fellow associates. We come from all over the United States and what a fun activity to familiarize ourselves with this city. From figuring out where the next clue was taking us, to figuring out where the nearest air conditioner was, the scavenger hunt was a great team building activity and a wonderful excuse to explore a city that will forever hold a place in our hearts.
